Tone - Tints and Shades
Light colors tend to be printed fairly faithfully.
Dark colors tend to loose distinction from black across all hues in the bottom 15% of the tonal scale.
Excellent Hues:-
Reds and Yellows
Good Hues:-
Greens and Magentas tend to be slightly darker and less saturated
Oranges tend to be hotter and slightly darker
Fair Hues:-
Light blues and Turquoise are slightly de-saturated and become dark quickly in the bottom 50% of the black tonal scale.
Poor Hues:-
Ultramarine will be printed as violet
